Ron’s award-winning designs reflect his unique blend of academic rigor and hands-on experience in making buildings.

Ron holds a degree in Architecture from North Dakota State University and masters degrees from Harvard University and Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

Balancing his knowledge of architectural history and theory, Ron has 39 years of design experience in the building industry.  As a result, his designs are informed by current and historical technologies and trends, reflecting Ron’s rigorous education and wide-ranging office and field experience.

Ron believes the architect has an obligation to specifically meet the client’s needs and budget, while at the same time offering an expanded context for architectural decision making.  A context which can enhance the satisfaction of the client’s needs and the enjoyment of both the building and the building experience.
